Alexandra Miller, LCSW, LCADC
Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor
Change is possible. Three of the most powerful words we can all learn to live by and put into action. I believe we are all made as resilient humans, and resilience makes us capable of achieving more than what we may tell ourselves at times. My passion to help others and educational background allows me the privilege to embark on the process of change with those who seek a safe therapeutic environment. I received my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Kutztown University and my Masters of Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in health, mental health, and disabilities. I have since received my License in Clinical Social Work and a License In Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counseling. I apply multiple therapeutic techniques, but am mainly driven by the Strengths Based Perspective and am Solution Focused in practice. I specialize with young adults and have experience working with a variety of populations including those suffering from chronic mental illness and PTSD and will frequently apply motivational interviewing to help my clients recognize, set, and achieve their treatment goals. Change is possible, and I look forward to working with you!
