Licensed Professional Counselor

Jenna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor whose background includes working with children, adolescents, adults and families in both school and community mental health settings. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Honors from Rutgers University and Masters of Science from Monmouth University, where she was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, the National Honor Society for Counseling Students and Professionals. Her studies focused on crisis intervention and counseling with a concentration in suicide awareness. She is also a certified NJ Student Assistance Coordinator and School Counselor. Jenna specializes in working with young adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, mood changes, and adjustment-related difficulties, along with family and work stressors. She also has experience working with clients experiencing grief and trauma.  Jenna’s approach to counseling draws from Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered therapies along with evidence-based techniques. Jenna takes a client-centered approach to therapy; a collaborative relationship to formulate realistic goals with accessible strategies that the individual client can apply in their life. She works to establish a space of warmth and acceptance to support clients while they resolve their difficulties and rediscover their strengths.
