Lisa Musolino, LAC
Licensed Associate Counselor
Change is possible through hard work, self-awareness, and determination. My area of specialty is working with adults and adolescents struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship/family problems. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a specialty in Addiction Studies from Monmouth University. My clinical interests include: recovery and addiction, co-occurring mental health disorders, communication skills, build self-esteem, coping skills, crisis intervention, and group work. I practice from a Client-centered and Strength-based approach, working together with my clients to achieve their goals. It is important to build a therapeutic relationship where the client feels safe and comfortable openly sharing their thoughts and feelings. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into treatment. Therapy is a personal journey that I look forward to helping you navigate.
