Background. I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from The New School, and my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University.
Credentials and Licensing. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey (LCSW) and New York (LMSW).
Areas of passion and specialty. I have experience working with clients living with trauma, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, delusions and hallucinations, relationship and attachment issues, as well as crisis intervention and life transitions.
Approach. My clinical training consisted of both psychodynamic instruction, as well as evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, creating an eclectic approach to therapy. I believe that you deserve a therapeutic experience that honors the intersecting identities that make you, you! Therapy is, not only an admirable investment in the self, but also a brave endeavor to resolve internal conflicts that may be dimming your light. Through a collaborative process driven by empathy and insight, we will navigate your needs and goals.
