Background. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology at Rowan University with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. I went on to complete my Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Violence Against Women and Children at Rutgers University.

Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) under the supervision of Lindsey Behr, LCSW-S, LCADC.

Areas of passion and specialty. I've been working with adolescents and adults for 4+ years in PHP/IOP and outpatient settings.

Approach. My goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to discuss their mental health concerns. I am passionate about working with adults who struggle with anxiety and depression related to a trauma, and who need help with coping in their daily lives. I enjoy thinking out of the box and learning from my clients when it comes to helping them reach their goals! My clients can always expect someone who is companionate, kind, and honest when they walk into the room each day. Healing is not easy, there will be obstacles, but my goal is to be alongside you along the journey.

As a clinician, I want to normalize trauma informed care. I don’t want people to have to turn that switch on for specific clients because the truth is, we never know what is going on that our client just hasn’t told us yet. With every client I have had and every client I will have, I will take an informed and person centered approach.

Many people who suffer from depression or anxiety have experienced a traumatic event, therefore why not start off with being trauma informed? This way the client knows I am someone they can eventually disclose to when they are ready to process everything as a whole.
