Background. With over two decades of experience as a labor and delivery nurse, in addition to her own challenging life experiences, Julie brings a deep understanding of women’s health and emotional well-being to her work in mental health care. Her clinical journey has been rooted in compassion, advocacy, and a commitment to supporting individuals through life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments.

Credentials and Licensing. Julie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), licensed in New Jersey. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and brings a wealth of experience to her psychiatric practice, blending her medical expertise with a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach.

Areas of passion and specialty. Julie has a special interest in supporting individuals navigating perinatal behavioral health, grief, and LGBTQ+ issues. She is passionate about creating affirming, inclusive, and safe spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Approach. Julie’s approach to care is holistic and collaborative. She believes in addressing the root causes of emotional distress, with an emphasis on lifestyle medicine, such as movement, journaling, meditation, and nutrition into her treatment plans. Julie works closely with each individual to foster resilience, promote sustainable mental wellness, and help them thrive in every area of life.
