Background. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rider University and my Master of Social Work, with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Families and Children, from Monmouth University. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years and have more than 10 years of experience as a therapist. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including intensive inpatient and community mental health, and have had the privilege of supporting clients across the lifespan, from elementary school-aged children to older adults.

Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey

Areas of passion and specialty. I currently work with a diverse range of clients and concerns, including ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), anxiety, depression, daily life stressors and transitions, self-esteem and confidence, effective communication, substance use, chronic illness, and LGBTQ+ individuals. I work with individuals from 1st grade all way up to adults.

Favorite Therapeutic Modalities. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Approach. My approach is compassionate and client-centered, offering direct guidance when needed along with gentle accountability and a lighthearted, supportive presence. I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and goals, meeting clients where they are and adapting interventions to best fit their needs and personal style.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges, gain insight, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. I draw from evidence-based approaches while remaining flexible, recognizing that every individual is unique and benefits from a tailored approach.

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and practical tools that empower you to make meaningful changes. My goal is not only to help you manage current challenges, but also to foster lasting emotional well-being, resilience, and confidence that extends beyond our work together. “Progress not perfection.”
