Background. I received my BA in Psychology from Vassar College and my MSW from Columbia University. I completed my clinical training at the Barnard College Counseling Center and have experience working in school settings. I love nature walks, baking, and good communication. I believe you hold a lot of strength within you, and I am here to guide you towards that strength.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of New Jersey and the State of New York. I am currently under the supervision of Shaina Davis, LCSW, LCADC.
Areas of passion and specialty. I utilize several modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing issues related to ADHD, anxiety, dating and relationships, friendships and social skills, self-esteem and body image, and life transitions such as going to college and navigating family conflict.
Approach. Together we will process past experiences, uncover present obstacles, and work towards future aspirations in a non judgemental environment and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
