Hi, my name is Anne Marie Pellegrino! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey, and I’m so glad you’re here. I enjoy working with adolescents and college-aged clients.
My Background
My professional background includes earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Scranton. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During college, I worked as therapeutic support staff providing ABA services within a school setting. Once licensed, I began working in private practice providing individual therapy.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is individualized, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. I believe in meeting clients where they are on their path in life and creating a space where they can grow. Throughout therapy, I utilize a person-centered approach while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other techniques to help meet each client’s individual needs.
Little More About Me
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors—especially now that I live near the beach—reading, and attending concerts and sporting events.
One of my favorite words of inspiration is, “Practice makes better.”
