Background. I graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelors in Psychology, and later, went to graduate with my Master's in social work at Rutgers as well. My past clinical experiences include working at an inpatient rehabilitation facility, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive outpatient facility where I worked with various ages for substance use and co-occurring mental health diagnosis.
Credentials and Licensing. I'm a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of New Jersey. I am under the supervision of Gina Oliver, LCSW-S.
Areas of passion and specialty. I have experience working with clients that struggle with stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and addiction recovery.
Approach. I believe in using a variety of therapeutic modalities that include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment to aim towards the most effective and sustainable growth. It is important to me that a client feels heard and validated in every session.
