About Lyndsey
Hi, my name is Lyndsey Buludis! I’m an LPC and LMHC, and I’m so glad you’re here. I enjoy working with adults.
My Background
My professional background includes earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. I spent five years as a caseworker supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness, followed by four years as a clinician working with adolescents at High Focus Centers. I have been a clinician at Tree of Life for eight years.
My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is authentic, honest, empathetic, and supportive. I believe establishing trust and rapport is an important part of the first few sessions. I respect my clients’ experiences, thoughts, feelings, and boundaries while offering empathy, support, and validation. I also incorporate appropriate humor to help clients feel more comfortable and at ease. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into our work together.
A Little More About Me
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exercising, going to the beach, and reading.
One of my favorite words of inspiration is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
