Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Background. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience across acute care, psychiatric nursing, advanced practice nursing, and substance use disorder treatment. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan and supported patients with a wide range of mental health and healthcare needs. My diverse nursing background has shaped my ability to meet patients where they are and provide thoughtful, individualized support throughout their treatment.
Credentials and Licensing. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in New Jersey.
Areas of passion and specialty. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and with a wide range of mental health concerns, with a particular appreciation for working with very young and older populations. I find it especially rewarding to support patients when their treatment goals may initially feel challenging and to help them work toward meaningful breakthroughs and sustained progress.
Approach. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe in working alongside each patient to better understand their needs, goals, and experiences while creating a treatment plan that feels supportive and achievable. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-based strategies to help patients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop practical coping skills, and work toward positive, lasting change.
