Licensed Social Worker
Background. I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University, where I pursued the clinical track to support individuals and families in their mental health journeys. My background includes working in diverse settings such as a detox and residential substance use facility, an elementary school, and an intensive outpatient and outpatient program.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of New Jersey.
Areas of passion and specialty. I bring a nurturing, passionate presence to therapy that helps clients feel safe, seen, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process together. I believe my role is to walk alongside you, not as the expert of your life, but as a compassionate guide who listens deeply and offers support with empathy and understanding. I have experience working with children (ages 5+), teens, adults, and families, navigating challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, substance use/addiction, ADHD, autism, and perinatal mental health.
Approach. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices while also embracing a strengths-based lens, always honoring the unique resilience each client brings. I use a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy. My work integrates evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for concerns like OCD and phobias.
