LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Background. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and have experience across outpatient, community, medical, and integrated care settings. My background includes working with adults as well as prior experience supporting adolescents in residential and outpatient care. I have worked with clients across a range of acuity levels using trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
Credentials and Licensing. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Areas of passion and specialty. I am passionate about working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, emotional regulation, and providing affirming care for people living with HIV and those a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I especially enjoy helping clients who are curious about themselves, open to growth, and interested in understanding patterns and root causes in order to create meaningful change. I value supporting self-awareness, balance, and self-compassion throughout the therapeutic process.
Approach. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I draw from DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based strategies to support both skill-building and insight. I enjoy working with clients who want to be active participants in therapy and are open to reflecting on behaviors and practicing skills both during and between sessions. I also value finding creative, engaging ways to help therapy feel approachable, practical, and meaningful, rather than repetitive or overwhelming. I strive to create a supportive space that feels empowering, comforting, authentic, and allows room for moments of humor or lightness when appropriate, recognizing that meaningful change is best supported through connection, self-understanding, and sustained practice.
